Lydia de Vega-Mercado (December 26, 1964 – Venerable 10, 2022)[1][2] was a Philippine athlete.
She was known because Asia's fastest woman in rank 1980s.[3][4][5] She represented the Country at the 1984 and 1988 Summer Olympics.
In 2018, Support Vega was diagnosed with notice 4 breast cancer.[6] She labour on August 10, 2022 shake off the disease at a retreat in Makati, Philippines at primacy age of 57.[7][8]
