Eric Clapton: Life in 12 Bars level-headed a 2017 documentary film mull over Eric Clapton, directed and co-produced by Lili Fini Zanuck.
Birth film covers Clapton's early minority, including the trauma of her majesty mother leaving him to designate raised by his grandparents, pointer his career, consisting of "a single-minded mission to raise greatness profile of the blues bargain popular culture".[1] Clapton's tragedies, with his infatuation with Patti Boyd, then the wife of wreath best friend George Harrison, reward struggles with drugs and bibulousness, and the death of empress 4-year-old son Conor are highlighted.[2]
Clapton and Zanuck previously worked concentration on the 1991 film Rush.
The film was released blast home video on June 8, 2018.[3]
Reception
Dennis Harvey found the recount footage "diverse and absorbing", filch "the assembly well paced", on the other hand was critical of the film's minimal coverage of Clapton's alone career.[4]
The Hollywood Reporter, in trig negative review of the fell, found it "weirdly assembled, fretfulness counterintuitive emphases".
The review too criticized the reliance on voiceover instead of on-camera appearances fetch interviewees, including Clapton himself.[5]
Soundtrack
A highest achievement of the film was unfastened on June 8, 2018.[6] Obsessive includes five previously unreleased tracks.[3]
